In this episode, Carlo Cracco explores two regions of southern Italy, Puglia and Basilicata. Accompanying him on this journey will be Luciana Littizzetto. The two will start from the Apulian Sea of Monopoli to conclude their experience immersed in the almost lunar beauty of the Lucanian hinterland. Surprises for Luciana from Carlo will be the order of the day, not all of them necessarily welcome, first of all being driven between two regions on board a vintage camper. Will Carlo be as good at driving as he is behind the stove? In addition to having to survive the driving of her traveling companion, Luciana will get her hands dirty in the kitchen to learn every secret that lies at the base of the strong and simple flavors of these two different but neighboring culinary traditions. There will be recipes based on octopus and sheep entrails, cheeses used as wedding proposals and culinary masterpieces created by the hands of Matera's Michelin-starred chef Vitantonio Lombardo, but this time with an exceptional sous chef, Luciana. Surprises will arrive for Carlo as well. It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold and that is why Luciana will serve him his at over 100 meters above the ground under a blizzard, making him face one of his greatest fears, heights. They will test themselves and get to know each other. Apparently, their affinity as a couple is not so bad, although they'll want to abandon each other several times. In the end, however, they will arrive together at the last stop of their journey, Aliano, where they will taste typical dishes and even think of opening a restaurant together. Once they reach the other members of the Dinner Club, among dances, tales of declarations of love and weddings, Luciana and Carlo will share their journey by tasting Apulian-Lucan recipes among the laughter and comments of their guests.
