The Hand of Fear is the fourth episode of the tenth season of Doctor Who: The Best of The Fourth Doctor. In this episode, the Doctor and his companion Sarah Jane Smith are exploring an abandoned quarry when they discover a fossilized hand. Unbeknownst to them, the hand belongs to Eldrad, a Kastrian who had been exiled to Earth for trying to overthrow their society. The hand possesses Sarah Jane, making her a vessel for Eldrad's resurrection. The Doctor must race against time to prevent Eldrad from resurrecting and enacting their revenge on Kastria.
