The Green Death is the final serial of the 10th season of Doctor Who. This serial featured the final episode of companion Jo Grant and Nobel prize winner Dr. Clifford Jones. Broadcast in six parts, the serial featured John Pertwee's Doctor and centers around Brigadier Leftbridge Stewart's investigation of the death of a miner in South Wales. The miner was found covered with a bright green substance that glows in the dark. Meanwhile the Doctor has an adventure on the blue world of Metabelis Three. The mine is controlled by Global Chemical whose headman Stevens wants to prevent The Doctor from learning the secrets of the mine.
