The Doctor and his companions find themselves aboard an alien spaceship hurdling through space towards Earth. The ship, named the Urbankan, is run by four beings who look like humans, but who are much more advanced and have the power to manipulate animals and create machines with their minds. Although they claim to be peace-loving and curious, the Doctor soon realizes that their intentions may not be as benevolent as they seem when he discovers that they have a sinister plan for the ultimate domination of Earth.
As the Doctor delves deeper into the Urbankan's inner workings, he uncovers a complex hierarchy and way of life, and begins to understand the aliens' motivations. He realizes that their thirst for knowledge and exploration has driven them to construct a massive computer, which they believe will allow them to record all of the knowledge of the universe before it is destroyed. However, the Doctor's skepticism about their true intentions leads him to question whether the aliens are only interested in their own survival, or whether they have a more malicious plan in store for humanity.
Meanwhile, the companions find themselves separated from the Doctor and trapped in different parts of the ship. Each encounters a different member of the Urbankan crew, and their individual experiences help to shed light on the true nature of the aliens. Together, they must use their wits and knowledge to outsmart the aliens and prevent their plan from coming to fruition.
In this gripping episode, the Doctor and his companions must navigate a complex web of intrigue and mystery as they attempt to foil the Urbankan's sinister plans. With plenty of action, suspense, and unexpected twists, "Four to Doomsday (2)" is a must-watch for fans of Doctor Who.
