Dress to Impress is a British dating show wherein each episode features three potential partners who get to select outfits for each other in order to present themselves in the best possible light. In exchange for choosing the winning outfit, the chooser is granted a romantic evening with their selected date. The aim of the show is to determine whether or not clothes really do make the man or woman in terms of lasting romantic appeal.

In Episode 4, we are introduced to three new contestants: 22-year-old fashion model Keely, 27-year-old customer service agent Alex, and 24-year-old builder Lyndsay. The premise of the show remains the same as previous episodes, with each of the contestants charged with the task of selecting an outfit for one of the others to impress the third.

Keely, as a fashion model, is confident in her ability to choose an outfit that will compliment somebody else's natural physique; however, she admits that she may struggle with finding a style that suits Alex's more subdued personality. In selecting an outfit for Lyndsay, Keely comments that she has never dressed a builder before, but believes that she can find a style that both compliments Lyndsay's features and is practical enough for manual labor.

Alex, on the other hand, is a little less certain about his ability to present somebody else in the best possible light. He is highly critical of himself and worries that choosing the wrong outfit could potentially ruin any chance he has of winning a date with either Keely or Lyndsay. In a series of interviews, Alex discusses the pressure he feels as the chooser and how much he wants to make the right impression on his date.

Finally, Lyndsay is enthusiastic but a little intimidated by the prospect of selecting outfits for Keely and Alex. She is highly aware of the fact that she is not necessarily the most fashion-forward of the three contestants, but expresses a desire to try her best in order to win the approval of the other two.

As always, the contestants visit a series of shops in order to select the outfits that they believe will impress their date. With the help of personal shoppers, they each choose several potential outfits before settling on the final choices.

After the outfits have been chosen, each of the contestants meets with stylist Charlotte Griffiths to discuss their sartorial choices. This segment allows the audience to gain insight into the contestants' decision-making processes and provides a closer look at each of the outfits chosen.

The final stage of the show sees each of the contestants putting on their chosen outfits and making their way to the restaurant where they will meet their potential love interests. As with previous episodes, the tension is palpable as the contestants enter and begin sizing each other up.

Throughout the course of the evening, the contestants eat, drink, converse, and attempt to gauge whether or not their chosen outfits have done the trick. The cameras linger on each of the contestants' faces as they react to their date's attire, and there are several moments of laughter and awkwardness as they study each other's clothing choices.

At the end of the evening, each contestant is called upon to make a choice. The chooser must pick the contestant whose outfit they felt was the most impressive, and the winner of that round gets to spend an evening at a luxury hotel with the chooser. For the contestants who are not selected, it's back to the drawing board.

Overall, Dress to Impress remains an enjoyable, lighthearted take on the traditional dating show format. Episode 4 provides some interesting insights into the contestants' personalities and fashion choices, and viewers will be left guessing until the very end as to who will come out on top.
