Ep 9. Older Women

Ray Barone is a married man with children. His overbearing mother, Marie, lives across the street and constantly meddles in his family's affairs. His father, Frank, is a gruff and often insensitive man who enjoys teasing and tormenting his son. In season 6 episode 9, titled "Older Women," Ray's brother Robert is struggling with his recent breakup with his longtime girlfriend Amy.

Robert is feeling low about his single status and his failed relationship. He confides in Ray about how he feels like he's getting too old to stay single and how he's starting to feel insecure about his age. They end up meeting a group of older women at the bar who take a liking to Robert. Robert is surprised that they are interested in him, but he enjoys their company and starts to feel better about himself.

The next day, Debra tells Ray about her lunch with the older women and how much she enjoyed it. Ray is happy for her and suggests that he and Robert should start dating older women too. Robert is initially skeptical but eventually agrees to give it a try.

That night, Ray and Robert attend a singles mixer for older women. They are both nervous at first but end up having a good time and meeting some interesting women. Robert even hits it off with one woman in particular.

The next day, Robert is feeling much better about himself and tells Ray that he's no longer worried about his age. He realizes that he still has plenty of time to find someone and that age doesn't matter as much as he thought it did.

Overall, season 6 episode 9 of Everybody Loves Raymond is a heartwarming and humorous look at the struggles of getting older.
