Ep 2. Darkness at Noon (2)

In Extreme Ghostbusters season 1 episode 2, titled "Darkness at Noon (2)," the team of young ghost hunters continues their battle against the supernatural in New York City. Following their initial encounter with the ghosts of two notorious gangsters in the previous episode, the team is called to investigate a new disturbance at the local power plant.

As they arrive at the plant, the Extreme Ghostbusters are met with an eerie scene as the entire facility is plunged into darkness, causing equipment to malfunction and resulting in a dangerous buildup of energy. The team quickly realizes that they are in the midst of a full-scale ghost invasion, and that the only way to stop it is to enter the plant and confront the source of the disturbance.

As they make their way through the labyrinthine corridors of the power plant, the Extreme Ghostbusters encounter a variety of supernatural creatures, including an army of ghostly workers who have taken over the plant. Despite the odds, the team manages to make it to the heart of the disturbance, where they discover a massive, otherworldly energy source that threatens to consume the city.

With their skills and equipment put to the test, the Extreme Ghostbusters launch a daring assault on the energy source, battling their way through waves of ghostly defenders and using their specialized weapons to destroy the source of the disturbance. As the energy dissipates, the power plant returns to normal, and the ghosts are banished back to the netherworld.

However, the team's victory is bittersweet, as they discover that the ghost invasion was just the beginning of a much larger threat. With the city still vulnerable and more supernatural disturbances on the horizon, the Extreme Ghostbusters realize that they must be ready to face any challenge that comes their way if they hope to protect New York from the forces of darkness.
