In this episode of First Dates Hotel (UK) season 2, the team at the hotel welcome a new group of hopeful singles, each one looking for love and the chance to find their perfect match. As always, the staff at the hotel work hard to create a romantic atmosphere, complete with candlelit dinners and stunning views of the Italian countryside.

The first couple to arrive at the hotel are Richard and Jess, both of whom are nervous but excited about the prospect of meeting someone new. Richard is a former navy officer who has recently retired, while Jess is a marketing executive who is looking for someone kind and funny. As they sit down to dinner together, they soon discover that they have quite a lot in common, including a love of adventure and travel. But when the conversation turns to more serious topics, will they still feel the same spark?

Next up is 55-year-old Sharon, who has come to the hotel looking for love after raising her son as a single mother. She is matched with 64-year-old Alan, who has recently lost his wife of 30 years. As they sit down to dinner together, they both admit that they are looking for someone who is loyal and committed, but they also have a lot of fun together. With the beautiful scenery of Italy all around them, will they find the love they have been searching for?

Elsewhere at the hotel, we meet 34-year-old Abigail, who is on a mission to find someone who shares her love of authentic Italian cuisine. She is paired with 32-year-old Ben, a self-confessed foodie who is impressed with the local dishes on offer. As they chat over dinner, they quickly discover that they both have a passion for travel and exploring new cultures. But with so much in common, can they find a deeper connection?

Finally, we meet 27-year-old IT salesman Joe, who has been unlucky in love in the past. He is matched with 22-year-old teaching assistant Maisie, who is looking for someone who is caring and fun-loving. As they sit down to dinner, they quickly discover that they both have a love of music and a passion for charity work. But will their age difference prove to be a stumbling block, or will they find that they are perfect for each other?

Throughout the episode, we see the couples go on a range of activities, from relaxing massages to exploring the local area. And as they get to know each other better, we can’t help but root for them to find their happily ever after.
