First Love Monster Season 1 Episode 4 Sought-After Undies

The situation comes to a head when Kaho asks Kanade for a pair of his "sought-after undies." Kanade is understandably taken aback by this request but decides to fulfill it anyway to avoid hurting Kaho's feelings. However, once Kaho gets her hands on Kanade's underwear, she starts parading it around their shared living space, causing some embarrassment for Kanade.

Despite the slightly uncomfortable situation, Kanade still cares for Kaho and wants to find a way to let her down gently. He turns to his friends for advice and they encourage him to be honest with Kaho about his feelings. After some hesitation, Kanade decides to sit down with Kaho and have a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationship.

Through the conversation, Kaho realizes that Kanade doesn't feel the same way about her that she does about him. While she is initially upset, Kanade makes it clear that he still values her as a friend and will always be there for her.
