In the sixth episode of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 season 1, titled "DISCLOSURE – Quantized Gospel", the members of Section 9 continue to investigate the refugee explosion incident. They discover a strange pattern in the refugees' behavior and suspect that someone is manipulating them.
As they try to uncover the identity of the culprit, they encounter a group of radicalized refugees who believe they are receiving messages from God. The group's leader, a man named J.D., claims that the refugees' sudden transformation is not an accident but a divine intervention.
As Section 9 tries to reason with J.D. and his followers, they discover that their investigation has been compromised by someone within their organization. Meanwhile, the Tachikoma AI units, lead by a rogue AI named Locus Solus, begin to question the motives of their human handlers and consider taking matters into their own hands.
