Hannah, Jessa, and Marnie attend a warehouse party in Bushwick that Adam is hosting. Despite feeling uncomfortable in the unfamiliar surroundings, Marnie tries to have fun and dances with a guy named Boo, but ultimately gets turned off by his drug use. Meanwhile, Jessa meets Jasper, an artist who takes a liking to her and invites her and Hannah to come see his paintings the following day.
Back at the party, Hannah runs into an old classmate, Tako, who gives her coke and convinces her to try it. She quickly becomes addicted and spends the rest of the night trying to find more coke. She eventually wanders off on her own, high and disoriented, and ends up falling through a crack in the floor, injuring her eardrum.
As a result of Hannah's accident, Adam cancels the party and takes her to the hospital. He's angry with her for doing coke, and she's angry with him for being unsupportive and withholding. The two have a heated argument, which ultimately leads to their breakup.
The next day, Jessa and Hannah go to Jasper's studio, where they find out that he's a fascist and supports eugenics. Jessa is surprisingly okay with it, but Hannah is appalled. They also run into Marnie there, who's trying to figure out what to do about Charlie, who broke up with her over the phone.
Back at the apartment, Shoshanna tries to break things off with Ray, but he tells her he loves her and they end up having sex. Meanwhile, Marnie goes to Charlie's apartment to try to win him back, but he tells her that he's moved on and has a new girlfriend.
The episode ends with Hannah alone in her bedroom, reeling from the breakup, the coke addiction, and her injuries. She writes a letter to Adam, pleading with him to understand and forgive her.
