Ep 11. A Gathering of Adventurers

When they finally reach the central chamber, they face the goblin champions, who taunt the adventurers, revealing that they knew about the attack. The Goblin Slayer and the team refuse to back down and engage in a battle with the goblins, who are well organised and battle-hardened. However, during the fight, the group deviates, and the inexperienced adventurers are caught off guard, putting their lives at risk.

As the group tries to gain a foothold in the fortress, Sword Maiden turns up and, with a single blast, eliminates the goblin champions, giving the adventurers a chance to catch their breath. Sword Maiden reveals her secret to the Goblin Slayer and his group and offers them her aid should they ever need it.

The team follows the goblin archers and makes their way through the fortress, killing all guards in their way, until they reach a narrow bridge guarded by the Goblin Lord, the most potent goblin they've faced yet. A final fight ensues as the Goblin Slayer and his companions face the Goblin Lord one-on-one, who is far more dangerous than the other goblins. The Goblin Slayer uses his intelligence and the team's strategic planning to force the Goblin Lord off the bridge, ending the battle.

The episode ends with the adventurers leaving the fortress and returning to the city. The group's newest member asks the Goblin Slayer why he chose to be an adventurer, to which the Goblin Slayer replies, "I wanted to protect people".
