In episode 4 of the first season of Gomorrah (English Subtitled), titled "African Blood," we see Ciro and Attilio, his new partner, discussing their next move after the death of Conte. They quickly realize that they need to work together and start making some money quickly in order to survive.
Meanwhile, Pietro, who has been in hiding for some time now, takes a trip to Spain to meet with one of his contacts. He learns that Don Salvatore, a rival boss, is planning to meet with one of the most powerful men in the city, a man known as "The Gypsy." Pietro sees this as an opportunity to expand his own power, and he makes a plan to intercept the meeting and take over Salvatore's territory.
With Pietro absent, his wife Imma takes charge of their business affairs. She is visited by a group of African immigrants who are in need of her help. They are being exploited by a local gang who are using them to sell drugs on the streets. Imma sees an opportunity to make some money and agrees to take their drugs and sell them for a profit.
Back on the streets, Ciro and Attilio carry out a daring heist on a local jewellery store. They manage to steal a large amount of gold, but things quickly go wrong when their getaway driver is killed in a shootout with the police. Ciro and Attilio are forced to flee on foot, and they end up taking refuge in a nearby apartment building.
As the police close in on Ciro and Attilio, tensions rise between the two men. Attilio accuses Ciro of being reckless and putting their lives in danger, while Ciro argues that they have nothing left to lose and need to take risks in order to survive. With the police closing in, the two men are forced to work together in order to escape.
Overall, "African Blood" is an action-packed episode that sees the various factions within the Camorra struggling for power and survival. Pietro continues to lay the groundwork for his return to power, while Ciro and Attilio work to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with on the streets. Meanwhile, Imma's dealings with the African immigrants hint at the complex web of relationships and alliances that underpin the world of Gomorrah.
