Ep 1. Pilot

Three suburban mothers who are fed up with their mundane lives and struggling to make ends meet decide to rob a local grocery store. Beth Boland (Christina Hendricks), a stay-at-home mom of four, discovers that her husband Dean (Matthew Lillard) has been unfaithful and has put their family in financial distress. Meanwhile, her sister, Annie Marks (Mae Whitman), is trying to regain custody of her daughter, Sadie (Izzy Stannard), from her ex-husband. And their friend, Ruby Hill (Retta), is struggling to afford her daughter Sara's (Lidya Jewett) medical bills.

After Annie's attempt to rob the store fails, she enlists the help of Beth and Ruby to pull it off. Initially, Beth and Ruby are hesitant but ultimately agree to help after realizing the potential payoff. Armed with a toy gun and masks made out of pantyhose, the three women successfully rob the store and make off with $30,000 in cash.

However, things quickly spiral out of control when they realize that the store's security camera footage was not erased and they are wanted by the police. While trying to figure out what to do with the newfound money, they are approached by a dangerous gangster named Rio (Manny Montana), who wants his cut of the stolen money.

As the women navigate their new lives as criminals, they quickly realize that their actions have consequences and they must be careful not to get caught. Their relationships with their families and each other are put to the test as they continue to make poor decisions and try to cover their tracks.

Overall, the pilot episode of Good Girls sets up an intriguing storyline filled with humor, drama, and unexpected twists. It introduces complex and relatable characters who are pushed to their limits and forced to make tough decisions.
