Nick, Hank, and Monroe are called in to investigate the mysterious death of a wealthy couple on a secluded island resort. Upon arriving at the island, they discover that the island is home to a Wesen community and is run by a Wesen couple who have been using a rare plant found on the island to create a powerful drug - the Island of Dreams.
The drug has caused a wave of addiction among the Wesen community and has led to a string of murders, including the ones that Nick and Hank are investigating. When the island's Wesen leader, who goes by the name Moloch, discovers that Nick and Hank are investigating the murders, he orders his men to capture them and bring them to him.
Meanwhile, Monroe teams up with a Wesen smuggler who has been bringing the Island of Dreams to the mainland to try and stop the drug from spreading any further. They enlist the help of Rosalee, who works at a spice shop and is a Wesen herself, to try and create an antidote for the drug.
As Nick and Hank try to navigate their way through the island and uncover the truth about the murders, they discover that the Island of Dreams has a much darker purpose than they ever could have imagined. Moloch has been using the drug to control his Wesen followers, and he has plans to use it to expand his power and influence beyond the island.
With time running out and the Wesen community descending into chaos, Nick and Monroe must work together to stop Moloch and put an end to the Island of Dreams once and for all. But with danger lurking around every corner and the odds stacked against them, it may be too late to save the island from its own dark secrets.
In the end, the team discovers the shocking truth about the Island of Dreams and the plant it's derived from. They manage to apprehend the culprits behind the murders, and with the help of Rosalee, they were able to create an antidote for the drug. The episode ends with the Wesen community on the island finally experiencing peace and Nick and Monroe parting ways with newfound respect for each other's professions.
