Ep 12. Three Ring Circus Part 1

In "Hardcore Pawn" Season 10 Episode 12, entitled "Three Ring Circus Part 1," we see the incredible chaos and drama that ensues when customers try to sell their wild and wacky items to American Jewelry and Loan.

As always, the Golds are dealing with all sorts of different customers, many of whom are looking for a quick payout on some unusual items. We get to see Les, Seth and Ashley trying to navigate their way through some truly bizarre pieces, from taxidermied animals to vintage circus memorabilia (hence the episode's title!).

The episode begins with Ashley trying to get a handle on the amount of stuff that's piling up in the store's back room. She decides to move some of the excess merchandise out to the sidewalk for a sidewalk sale, but things quickly get out of hand when a group of bargain-hunters start fighting over the same items.

Meanwhile, a woman named Betty comes in with a completely stuffed, mounted crocodile that she's hoping to sell. Apparently, the croc has been in her family for generations and was once a fixture in her grandparent's bar. Les is skeptical of the item from the get-go, but Betty is determined to get her price. As they haggle back and forth, tensions rise and things get pretty heated.

Later on, a man comes into the store with a collection of circus memorabilia, including old posters, photos and even some clown shoes. The items catch Ashley's eye, but Les is more skeptical, noting that he's never really seen circus stuff sell well in the past. Despite his concerns, Ashley decides to take a chance on the items and they agree on a price.

Towards the end of the episode, things get even more intense when a group of scrappers come into the store looking to sell a load of scrap metal. One of the scrappers gets very aggressive with Seth, even trying to throw a punch at him. Luckily, security is there to intervene and the situation is diffused.

As the episode wraps up, we're left with a cliffhanger as Les receives a very mysterious, very valuable-looking item, but is unsure of its authenticity. We'll have to tune in to next week's episode to see how that plays out!
