Seth and Ashley are faced with a heated confrontation with a tattooed and irate woman who is trying to sell her engagement ring. Meanwhile, Joel is swamped with work as he tries to control all the customers in the store. He is put to the test when a couple brings in an unusual item; an antique diving helmet, hoping to make a quick buck. Can Joel negotiate a good deal and make both the customer and the store happy?
Les is presented with yet another challenge when a lady tries to sell her grandfather's collection of Matchbox cars. The cars are in pristine condition and could potentially make a fortune. But is Les willing to take a risk and invest in the collection? He has to make a tough decision on whether to sell his shop to protect the business or keep his store going and give the collector a chance to earn a profit.
Later on, the Gold family is thrown into a tough situation when they are presented with evidence that one of their employees has been stealing from the store. But firing someone is never an easy decision, as they'll have to deal with the HR side of things.
As the day comes to an end, the Golds are still hard at work trying to keep their business afloat. Seth is approached by a man who is willing to sell him an entire storage locker filled with merchandise but isn't sure it's worth his time and energy.
In the end, the day has been full of challenges and tough decisions for the Gold family. They have to decide who to trust, which items to invest in, and how to handle confrontation with ease. With only so many hours in a day, it's impressive how effectively they can work together as a team to keep their business thriving.
