In Hardcore Pawn season 6 episode 18, titled "Vintage Victory", we follow the latest day in the lives of the Gold family at their Detroit pawn shop, American Jewelry and Loan.
Ashley, daughter of Les Gold and general manager of the shop, focuses on some of the unique items that come through their doors. She comes across a vintage accordion she believes is worth a pretty penny. She enlists the help of Seth, her brother and head of sales, to find a buyer for the musical instrument.
Meanwhile, Les deals with his own set of challenges at the shop. A customer comes in looking to sell a vintage motorcycle. Les, being the savvy businessman he is, quickly realizes the bike is a replica. He tries to lowball the seller, but the customer is not happy with the offer and tensions rise between them.
On the buying end, a customer enters the shop with an odd request. He wants to purchase replica firearms, specifically 1920s-era Thompson submachine guns. Les and his team are hesitant to sell the replica weapons, but are tempted by the customer's offer. They must decide whether or not to sell the replicas and run the risk of them falling into the wrong hands.
As the day progresses, Ashley's mission to sell the accordion hits a snag. She is offered a lower price than expected and struggles with whether or not to take the deal. Seth tries to convince her to hold out for a better offer, but Ashley is torn.
Throughout the episode, we see the Golds deal with some interesting customers and items at their pawn shop. Will Ashley sell the accordion for a profit? Will Les find common ground with the motorcycle seller? Tune in to find out on Hardcore Pawn season 6 episode 18, "Vintage Victory".
