Arnold has always been a champion of nature, and in this episode he continues his mission to save the urban wilderness. When a beloved tree in the neighborhood is slated to be cut down to make room for a new road, Arnold rallies the troops to try and save it.

The episode begins with Arnold and his friends playing in the park, enjoying the shade of a massive old tree. They hear the sounds of a bulldozer in the distance, and soon see a crew of workers preparing to cut the tree down. Arnold immediately springs into action, protesting the destruction of such an important piece of nature.

Arnold's friends are a bit skeptical at first, but as they learn more about the tree's history and the impact it has on the environment, they become just as passionate about saving it. Together, they put up posters and flyers around the neighborhood, encouraging people to take action.

Their efforts catch the attention of a local news station, which sends a reporter to cover the story. Arnold and his friends are interviewed about their campaign, and they even get a chance to meet the mayor and plead their case to him.

Meanwhile, in school, the kids are dealing with a new teacher who has just arrived. Miss Felter is strict and no-nonsense, and the kids aren't sure how to react to her. Arnold is particularly worried, as he has always had a close relationship with his previous teachers, who were kind and nurturing.

As the days go by, Arnold and his classmates start to warm up to Miss Felter, as they realize that she is actually very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject matter. She challenges them to think critically and work hard, and they soon realize that they are learning a lot from her.

The climax of the episode comes when Arnold and his friends stage a protest at City Hall, demanding that the tree be saved. They make signs and chant, drawing the attention of the mayor and other important officials. In the end, their hard work pays off, as the city decides to reroute the road around the tree, leaving it standing for generations to come.

Back in school, Miss Felter announces that she will be leaving at the end of the week, as her temporary job has come to an end. The kids are sad to see her go, but they know that they have learned a lot from her and are thankful for the experience. As she packs up her things, Arnold gives her a heartfelt thank-you note, expressing his gratitude for everything she has taught him.

The episode ends with Arnold and his friends sitting under the shade of the beloved tree, which has become a symbol of their victory over the forces of destruction. They share a quiet moment of reflection, basking in the beauty and power of nature, and looking forward to a future full of hope and possibility.
