HBO's "High Maintenance" is a show that is a mix between a comedy-drama genre and a slice-of-life story. The show follows the life of an unnamed marijuana dealer simply known as "The Guy" (played by Ben Sinclair), as he encounters various people he meets while making his deliveries. Each episode explores different characters and their stories, making each one unique and interesting in its own way.

In the second episode of season 2, titled "Helen," we meet a woman in her 60s named Helen (played by Susan Pourfar) who is trying to find her place in the world after her husband's death. She has become bored and lonely in her apartment and is looking for some excitement and adventure. Helen's daughter, Abigail (played by Yael Stone), encourages her mother to go out and try new things, but Helen is hesitant and worried about fitting in.

During her day at a pottery studio, Helen discovers a new passion for creating art. She begins to find joy in shaping the clay into beautiful creations and starts taking classes to hone her skills. As Helen's pottery skills improve, she becomes more confident and starts to make friends with the other students in her class. One of her classmates, Pete (played by Joshua Leonard), even begins to show romantic interest in her.

In addition to her newfound love of pottery, Helen also starts to experiment with marijuana. Although she had never used it before, she becomes curious about the drug and asks The Guy to bring her some. After a long discussion with The Guy about different strains and the effects of each, Helen eventually decides to try a gummy.

The episode follows Helen as she navigates her way through her new hobbies and experiences. As she delves deeper into her passion for pottery and marijuana use, Helen begins to find the excitement and adventure that she had been seeking. She becomes more confident and comfortable in her own skin, and starts to embrace the idea of trying new things.

The episode is a heartwarming and uplifting story that shows that it's never too late to try new things and find passion in life. Helen's character is relatable and endearing, and her journey is one that many viewers will find inspiring.

Overall, "Helen" is a wonderful addition to the already outstanding "High Maintenance" series. It showcases the show's ability to take a seemingly simple and mundane story and turn it into a touching and emotional journey. It reminds us that everyone has a story to tell, and that even the smallest things can have a significant impact on our lives.
