Throughout the episode, The Guy also has conversations with several other characters, including a weed dealer who is trying to take over his territory, a homeless man who is searching for a lost dog, and a group of teenagers who are experimenting with drugs for the first time.

As with all episodes of High Maintenance, Brad Pitts is shot in a very naturalistic, documentary-style way, giving viewers a glimpse into the lives of people from all walks of life in New York City.
