Kyla reluctantly agrees to let Justin take Max with him to play football, but the inebriated father fails to realise the youngster is unwell. Nick is still determined to secure a job at St Luke's, and manages to get himself invited to a charity soiree Lord Byrne will be attending. However, the evening ends in chaos when a distressed waiter accuses Connie of killing his fiancee and lets off a bomb.
