Hoops and Yoyo are off to the mall to find a Halloween costume. Halloween was upon them so they were rushing to find just the right outfit to go trick or treating. During their visit at the mall they were taking in all the sights and going from store to store searching for the best costume. Hoops and Yoyo let time get away from them. The next thing they knew, the mall had closed and they were both locked inside. They find out the mall they love in the day turns into a haunted creepy place to be at night.

When that search leads them to the mall, they are accidentally locked inside after closing. They discover that this favorite daytime haunt is actually haunted at night. But through a series of frightening events, they learn that "monsters" aren't always who they seem to be.
