Melanie is an up-and-coming mechanical engineer with big dreams and the ambition to match. When a high tech lab in Wurzburg, Germany offers her the job of a lifetime, she hops a plane and doesn't look back. Before long, she realizes that she might be in over her head: she doesn't speak German, her realtor doesn't quite get her, and she starts work in two weeks.
