House Hunters Season 2014 Episode 70 Couple Disagrees on Ranch vs. Two-story in Jacksonville, Florida
- June 18, 2014
In this episode of House Hunters, a couple from Jacksonville, Florida is on the hunt for their dream home. However, they quickly discover that they disagree on whether they want a ranch-style or two-story home.
The episode begins with the couple, Tom and Sarah, browsing homes online and discussing their options over breakfast. Tom, who grew up in a two-story home, is set on finding a house with an upstairs and a traditional layout. Meanwhile, Sarah, who prefers a single-story layout, argues that a ranch-style home will be more practical in the long run.
Their realtor, Samantha, takes them to tour several properties throughout Jacksonville, including a spacious two-story home that Tom falls in love with immediately. However, Sarah is not convinced, citing concerns about stairs and the difficulty of maintaining a larger home.
The next home they tour is a spacious ranch-style house in a quiet neighborhood. Sarah is immediately drawn to the open floor plan and one-story layout, but Tom argues that the house lacks character and doesn't feel as traditional as he would like.
Throughout the episode, the couple continues to disagree on their preferences. At one point, they even create a pros and cons list for each type of home to try and reach a compromise.
As the episode progresses, they tour several more homes and continue to debate the merits of each. Ultimately, they are forced to make a tough decision: compromise on one of their preferred home styles or continue their search.
Will Tom and Sarah be able to agree on a home that meets both of their needs? Tune in to this episode of House Hunters to find out.
