Ep 5. Duel Citizenship

When Ted invites his new girlfriend, Zoey, to come see the arcades that he and Barney designed, Barney is disappointed to learn that Zoey is an anti-establishment protester who plans to rally against the destruction of a historic hotel.

Barney decides to join the protest to get close to a woman he met who is also involved. However, as the two women butt heads, Barney becomes embroiled in a battle between two fiercely opposed groups and finds himself unable to escape from the violent clash between the two factions.

Meanwhile, Robin and Marshall receive their dual citizenship certificates in the mail and have a lively argument over whether they should extend their American or Canadian identities. The two friends attempt to prove the superiority of their respective homelands by engaging in an epic series of challenges, which includes Robin coaching Marshall on how to be a true Canadian.
