The New Guy is the third episode of the first season of the comedy series I Didn't Do It. The show revolves around five best friends who often find themselves in outrageous situations. In this episode, the group of friends is excited about their school's upcoming football game and the new guy, Gary, who has just transferred to their school and is expected to play in the game. However, when they find out that Gary is a geek and not the football superstar they thought he was, they decide to help him become more popular.
Lindy is especially excited about the game and hopes to get closer to Logan by showing off her knowledge of football. Meanwhile, Delia and Jasmine are excited about the chance to meet some football players and possibly land dates.
As the day of the game approaches, Lindy, Delia, and Jasmine start to notice that Gary is not fitting in with the other football players. They decide to take matters into their own hands and offer to help him become more popular. They give him a new haircut and a makeover, but things don't go as planned. Gary still doesn't fit in with the football players, and things only get worse when he accidentally knocks over the team's water cooler during practice.
Things take a turn for the worse when Gary is falsely accused of stealing one of the football player's watches. The group of friends decide to come to his defense and clear his name. They do a little detective work and it turns out that the real thief was the star quarterback, who had stolen his own watch to get attention.
In the end, the group of friends stick up for Gary and show him that it's okay to be himself, even if he doesn't fit in with the so-called "cool" crowd. Lindy and Logan also have a moment at the game, where they bond over their love of football.
Overall, The New Guy is a fun and lighthearted episode that teaches the importance of being oneself and sticking up for one's friends. It also showcases the dynamic between the five friends, who always have each other's backs no matter what.
