- 2 Seasons
Follow some of the seasoned EMS personnel in Boston as they go on calls, saving the lives of those who are in distress. This is a documentary series that features interviews conducted with some of those who work in the field. Viewers will see everything from car accidents to stabbing victims as they are treated on the scene or rushed to a local hospital. Some of the situations are graphic, which is why viewer discretion is advised at times. EMS workers deal with children who have sickle cell anemia and an adult who is hit by a car while jogging. Viewers can also see some of the details of the personal lives of the EMS workers as they balance family and working long hours. There are some workers who have developed relationships at the hospitals where they take patients and some who offer details of what it's like working in the same field as their spouse.
