For example, when she tries to ride a horse, it takes off running and leaves her behind. Meanwhile, Ethel tries to win Wayne's attention by wearing a revealing dress, but he doesn't seem to notice.

As the evening goes on, Lucy becomes increasingly nervous around Wayne and ends up spilling a bowl of gravy all over him. In an attempt to make up for it, she offers to make him dinner, but ends up burning everything in the process.

Despite all the mishaps, Lucy is able to redeem herself in Wayne's eyes when she saves him from a bear that wanders into the cabin. In the end, Wayne gives Lucy a kiss on the cheek and tells her that she's a real "trooper."
