In Search of Aliens is a television series produced by Prometheus Entertainment and aired on the History Channel. This show explores the theory that extraterrestrial beings have visited Earth throughout history and left evidence of their existence. In the seventh episode of season one titled "The Mystery of Puma Punku," host Giorgio Tsoukalos and his team investigate the ancient ruins of Puma Punku in Bolivia, which many believe to have been built by aliens.

The episode begins with Tsoukalos explaining that Puma Punku, which is located in the Andes Mountains, was once a thriving metropolis built by an advanced civilization over 2000 years ago. Despite the fact that the city had no written language, it was home to some of the most impressive architecture ever seen, including massive stone blocks that weigh up to 800 tons. The sheer size and precision of these blocks have led many to speculate about alien involvement in their construction.

Tsoukalos and his team travel to Bolivia and meet with author and researcher Brian Foerster, who has spent years studying Puma Punku. Foerster shows them around the site and points out some of the most impressive features, including the intricate carvings found on many of the stones. Foerster explains that the Andean people were known for their ability to work with stone, but the precision and skill required to create the blocks at Puma Punku is beyond anything that humans could have accomplished at the time.

The team then investigates some of the more mysterious aspects of Puma Punku, including the strange magnetic anomalies that have been detected in the area. Tsoukalos and Foerster speculate that these anomalies could be related to the alien technology that was used to construct the site.

Next, the team examines some of the smaller, more intricate features of Puma Punku, such as the tiny drill holes found in many of the stones. These holes are incredibly precise and suggest that the Andean people had access to advanced drilling technology. However, there is no evidence to suggest where this technology came from.

The team also looks at the alien-looking faces that are carved into many of the stones at Puma Punku. These faces have exaggerated features and large eyes, leading many to believe that they are depictions of extraterrestrial beings. However, Foerster points out that these faces may actually represent the traditional Andean belief in the afterlife and could be a representation of the gods.

Throughout the episode, Tsoukalos and his team examine the physical evidence of Puma Punku and speak to experts in the field to try and piece together the mystery of its construction. They offer a range of possible explanations for the site, including the involvement of aliens, advanced human civilizations, or a combination of both.

"The Mystery of Puma Punku" is a fascinating exploration of one of the world's most enigmatic ancient sites. Tsoukalos and his team approach the subject with an open mind and offer a range of possible explanations for the site, but ultimately leave the viewer to draw their own conclusions. Whether one believes in the involvement of aliens or not, there is no denying that Puma Punku is a remarkable feat of engineering and a testament to the ingenuity of humanity.
