Infinity Train follows a young girl named Tulip trying to find her way home. In the first episode, "The Grid Car," Tulip finds herself on an endless train with a number on her hand and no idea how she got there. She wanders through a few cars, including ones that look like a mall, a carnival, and a grungy city before finding herself in the titular Grid Car.

The Grid Car is a stark, geometric space filled with little glowing green balls. Tulip tries to explore, but quickly finds herself getting lost in the maze-like layout. To make matters worse, a robot guard called One-One is watching her every move and forcing her to stay in the car. One-One is a strange creature with two faces – one happy and one stern – who speaks in a chirpy, robotic voice. It's clear that Tulip will have to figure out how to outsmart him if she wants to move on to the next car.

Fortunately, Tulip is not alone in the Grid Car for long. A talking corgi named Atticus appears out of nowhere and starts following her around. Atticus is a jolly, British-accented fellow who loves snacks and belly rubs. He claims to be a king in his world and seems knowledgeable about the workings of the train. Tulip is skeptical of him at first, but eventually warms up to his friendly demeanor.

Together, Tulip and Atticus try to find a way to escape the Grid Car. They realize that the little green balls are actually switches that control the layout of the car. By pressing the balls in the right order, they are able to create a pathway to the exit. However, they still have to get past One-One, who is guarding the door.

Tulip comes up with a plan to distract One-One with a makeshift decoy while she and Atticus make a run for it. The plan works, but it's not long before they're faced with a new obstacle in the form of a terrifying monster. The creature is made of metal and has glowing red eyes, and it seems determined to chase them down.

Tulip and Atticus run through a series of cars as they try to evade the monster. Each car is stranger than the last, with bizarre creatures and environments unlike anything they've ever seen. Along the way, they learn more about each other's backgrounds and try to figure out why they're on the train in the first place.

As the episode comes to a close, Tulip and Atticus are still trying to outrun the monster. They stumble into a new car that looks like a peaceful meadow, but they know they can't stay there for long. It's clear that their journey on the Infinity Train is far from over, and there are surely more challenges and adventures ahead.

Overall, "The Grid Car" is a thrilling introduction to the world of Infinity Train. The animation is gorgeous, with vibrant colors and imaginative character designs. The episode does a great job of setting up the premise of the show while still leaving plenty of mysteries to be revealed in future episodes. Tulip and Atticus make for a likable duo, and their dynamic is a lot of fun to watch. If you're looking for a new animated adventure to dive into, Infinity Train is definitely worth checking out.
