Ep 3. Leopard Snares Rabbit

In the third episode of the third and final season of AMC's "Into the Badlands," titled "Leopard Snares Rabbit," Sunny finds himself in an unfamiliar place after he's kidnapped and brought to a mining colony called the Three Needles. Once there, he's forced to do manual labor along with the other prisoners, who are essentially treated like slaves. Meanwhile, Bajie is on the hunt for a new vehicle to replace their crashed one, and he manages to steal an armored truck belonging to a group of "nomads" who live in the Badlands.

As usual, the action doesn't disappoint in this episode, with several fight scenes breaking out throughout. One particularly entertaining scene sees Bajie using a crossbow to take down a group of foes, while Sunny is involved in a few hand-to-hand combat sequences that showcase his impressive weaponry and skills. The armored truck that Bajie steals also leads to some pretty intense moments, as the nomads who own it are none too pleased about their vehicle being taken.

For example, we learn more about the mysterious woman who's been helping Bajie and Sunny, as well as about Sunny's past and his relationships with the people he's left behind. Overall, "Leopard Snares Rabbit" is a solid episode of "Into the Badlands," with plenty of action, suspense, and character development to keep viewers engaged.
