Ep 10. Mr. Berserk

Liv and Clive are given a new case that is unlike any other they have seen before on iZombie season 1 episode 10, named Mr. Berserk. The case involves a man, known as Mr. Berserk, who appears to have killed a woman as part of an intense and brutal performance art piece. It is revealed that Lou had attended a party hosted by Max Rager on the night of her murder. Brandt had been trying to win Lou back, but she rejected him and left the party early.

The puzzle seems to come together when Liv has another vision that leads her and Clive to a storage room full of strange objects, including the makeshift weapon that Lou had used on Mr. Berserk during her performance. They realize that Lou had been trying to expose Mr. Berserk as a fraud, and that the man she had killed was just an innocent bystander who happened to resemble Mr. Berserk.

Clive and Liv's investigation also leads them to another motive, as they find that Max Rager was sponsoring Simon Cutler's gallery. The gallery's success was tied to Max Rager's support and advertising. They deduce that Simon had planned and staged the performance art piece, using an innocent man as a pawn in his scheme to manipulate Lou and the gallery's success.

The case comes to a head as Liv, Clive, and Ravi try to track down the real Mr. Berserk. They eventually corner him, but not before he has a chance to prove himself to Liv in a surprise way. As the killer confesses everything in a shocking turn of events, Liv passes on a message to Lou's family from their deceased daughter.
