Ep 3. Eat, Pray, Liv

"iZombie" Season 3 Episode 3, titled "Eat, Pray, Liv," begins with Liv's standard method of acquiring the memories and skills of the people whose brains she consumes. After discovering that a yoga instructor was murdered, Liv signs up for a yoga retreat to fully grasp the victim's mindset.

As Liv is in the midst of yoga, she receives a vision of the teacher, and it prompts her to investigate. Even though Ravi protests against Liv's sudden excursion, she decides to share a few details with Clive and begins conducting her investigation.

Meanwhile, Blaine is still in dire straits at the bottom of the city's hierarchy, which turns violent as his opponents rise to power. He must quickly figure out how to fight back and regain his authority while concealing the fact that he no longer possesses the memory of his past life as a zombie.

Peyton, the new acting mayor, has her own issues to contend with as she tries to adjust to her new position of power and effectively root out any hidden corruption in the city's leadership.

Tension ensues when an old political contact of Peyton's appears on television following a classified meeting. Despite being rejected by Peyton after their last interaction, the politician is adamant in his pursuit of her in the hopes of garnering votes for his campaign.

In the third season's third episode, Liv immerses herself in the world of yoga to solve a murder, while Blaine struggles to regain his power in the zombie hierarchy and Peyton tries to navigate the murky politics of her new role as mayor.
