Kage Kara Mamoru is a Japanese anime television series that aired on TV Osaka from April to September in 2006. The show is based on a manga of the same name by Motoei Shinzawa. The plot of Kage Kara Mamoru revolves around Mamoru Kagemori, a high school student who is a skilled ninja. Mamoru’s mission is to protect his classmate, Aya Konishi, who also happens to be the love of his life.

Aya is an ordinary high school student who has no idea that she is constantly being targeted by various enemies due to her family’s secret hidden treasure. Her family has been in possession of a powerful ancient artifact for generations, which grants its owner immense wealth and power. However, this also makes Aya and her family a target for various villains who want to get their hands on the valuable artifact.

Mamoru is a member of the Kagemori ninja clan and has been tasked with protecting Aya at all costs. Mamoru is highly skilled in ninjutsu and uses his abilities to blend in with the shadows and to disappear in plain sight. He also uses a variety of weapons, including a blowpipe, shurikens, and other ninja weapons that he carries with him at all times.

In addition to Mamoru, there are several other characters in the anime who play important roles in the story. Aya’s best friend, Mika Itou, is a key character who often finds herself caught up in the dangerous situations involving Aya and Mamoru. Mamoru’s fellow ninja, Yuna Konnyaku, is a skilled warrior who is also secretly in love with Mamoru.

The anime blends action, comedy, and romance in a unique way. There are plenty of fight scenes between Mamoru and the various villains who try to attack Aya. However, there are also moments of humor between the characters, especially when Mamoru tries to balance his ninja duties with his feelings for Aya.

The series also includes a bit of romance as Mamoru slowly but steadily falls in love with Aya. Aya, however, is mostly unaware of Mamoru’s feelings for her and sees him only as a good friend.

The animation in Kage Kara Mamoru is well-done, with detailed backgrounds and character designs. The fight scenes are particularly impressive, with detailed choreography and fluid motion.

The voice acting in the anime is also great, with Ryoko Shintani voicing Mamoru and Mai Nakahara voicing Aya. Atsushi Kisaichi voices Mamoru’s fellow ninja Yuna, while Sachiko Kojima plays the role of Mika, Aya’s best friend.

The music in the anime is also noteworthy, with a catchy opening theme song and fitting background music for each scene.

Overall, Kage Kara Mamoru is an entertaining anime series that combines action, comedy, and romance in a unique way. The characters are well-developed, and the story keeps viewers engaged from beginning to end. Fans of ninja-themed anime and romantic comedies will enjoy this series.
