Mother Flora suggests to handing down the toys they've grown out of to the Baby Plovers. But Chip is reluctant to give away his rattle. On the way to the Plover's house, they find the Hermit Crab who is looking for a new home. The little pheasants give their old toys to him as a new home but it is not quite perfect. An older Hermit Crab hands down its shell that no longer fits.
