Ep 13. Ring Worm

Kevin Can Wait season 1 episode 13, titled "Ring Worm," follows Kevin and Donna as they navigate a new business opportunity and struggle to maintain their separate lives. Their daughter Kendra comes home with a mysterious rash, sparking a round of arguments and finger-pointing as they try to figure out where it came from. Meanwhile, Kevin's former partner Chale asks for his help with a business idea that quickly spirals out of control.

As the episode opens, Kevin is sleeping on the couch, surrounded by takeout containers and beer bottles. Donna is frustrated with his lack of effort to keep their house clean, but Kevin claims he's been busy working on his "biggest deal yet." When Kendra walks in with a rash on her arm, Donna immediately assumes it's ring worm and blames Kevin for bringing it into the house. As they bicker about whose fault it is, Kendra reveals that she got it from a tattoo parlor, much to her parents' horror.

Meanwhile, Chale shows up at Kevin's house with an idea for a new business venture: importing beer from Germany and selling it to bars and restaurants in New York. Despite initial reluctance, Kevin agrees to invest in the venture. As they begin building their website and making deals with German breweries, Kevin realizes too late that Chale hasn't done his research on importing laws and they may be in over their heads.

Back at the house, Donna tries to avoid getting ring worm from Kendra by sleeping in separate beds. But when she wakes up with a rash on her neck, she accuses Kevin of infecting her too. As they both struggle to treat their rashes, Donna gets angry when Kevin suggests they merge their beds to save money. She feels like they're losing their independence and becoming too dependent on each other.

As the beer venture starts to fall apart, Kevin and Chale try to salvage it by making a deal with a sketchy German businessman. When they realize they've been scammed, Kevin must come up with a plan to save their investment and their reputations. At the same time, Donna and Kevin reconcile and agree to work together to treat their rashes and clean up the house.

In the end, Kevin and Chale's beer business is a failure, but they learn valuable lessons about the importance of research and partnerships. Donna and Kevin's relationship is stronger than ever, and they're able to laugh about their ring worm scare. The episode ends with Kevin and Donna snuggling on the couch, surrounded by anti-fungal cream and bottles of beer.
