Ep 12. The Might've Before Christmas

In Kevin Can Wait season 2 episode 12, titled "The Might've Before Christmas," Kevin (played by Kevin James) is in search of the perfect Christmas gift for his wife Donna (played by Erinn Hayes) and decides to take advantage of a deal on a Smart Home device. However, his plans are thwarted when his neighbor Chale (played by Ryan Cartwright) breaks the device and Kevin must scramble to find a replacement before Donna finds out.

Meanwhile, Kendra (played by Taylor Spreitler) and her boyfriend Chale's brother, Kyle (played by Gary Valentine) are trying to figure out the best way to break it to at her dad, Kevin, that they are moving in together. And while their plan seems solid, Kendra starts to have second thoughts when Donna's reaction to their news isn't quite what she expected.

As the family prepares for their annual Christmas Eve party, tensions rise as secrets are revealed and mishaps occur. Will Kevin be able to fix the Smart Home device and save his gift for Donna? Will Kendra and Kyle work up the courage to tell Kevin about their living arrangements? And will the family be able to put aside their differences and have a merry Christmas?
