Ep 3. Junketsu

Ryuko Matoi, the protagonist, is on her mission to find the owner of the other half of the scissor blade that she had found. Her search leads her to Honnouji Academy, where she confronts the student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin, and challenges her for information. Satsuki is not impressed with Ryuko's attitude and sends her underlings, the Elite Four, to fight against her. However, Ryuko unleashes her power and defeats them all.

In the meantime, the homeroom teacher, Aikuro Mikisugi, invites Ryuko to join the Nudist Beach, a secretive organization that opposes Satsuki's rule and seeks to uncover the truth about the school and its hierarchy. Mikisugi gives Ryuko a new outfit made of the same material as the scissor blade, which he names Senketsu, and tells her that it has special abilities that only she can unlock.

Ryuko accepts the offer and becomes involved in Nudist Beach's plan to retrieve a powerful uniform called Junketsu, which is in Satsuki's possession and has been causing havoc in the school. Ryuko and Nudist Beach infiltrate the school in disguise and manage to steal the uniform with the help of Mako Mankanshoku, Ryuko's new friend and classmate.

However, when Ryuko tries to wear Junketsu, she discovers that it has a mind of its own and tries to take over her. Ryuko's connection with Senketsu allows her to resist Junketsu's control, but the uniform proves to be a challenging opponent. In a spectacular battle, Ryuko and Junketsu clash, with both sides unleashing their full power.

The fight ends in a draw, but Ryuko emerges victorious as she manages to reclaim Senketsu, which was taken away by Junketsu's power. She also learns that Satsuki is not the only enemy she has to face, as there are other factions that seek to control the power of the Life Fibers, the mysterious substance that both Senketsu and Junketsu are made of.

The episode ends with Ryuko realizing that she has a long way to go before she can defeat all of her foes and uncover the truth about her father's death. She decides to stay at Honnouji Academy to continue her search, and vows to protect those close to her while fighting against the forces that threaten their world.
