Ep 1. 1. A Body in The Bayou

The team then meets with Tommy's family, who are not cooperating with the investigation. The detectives know that without the family's cooperation, they will not get the information they need. Detective St. Angelo believes that winning over the family is the key to solving this case, so he works on building a relationship with Tommy's cousin, a man named Lev. In a surprising turn of events, Lev comes forward with information that could change everything.

The detectives discover that Tommy Francise had a vehicle that he allegedly used the night of Eugenie's murder, and that the vehicle was never examined in the original investigation. The detectives find the vehicle, and it shows signs of being washed and cleaned up, leading the team to believe that it was used to transport Eugenie Boisfontaine's body.

Towards the end of the episode, the team receives forensic evidence that links Tommy Francise to Eugenie's murder. They now believe they have enough evidence to arrest him. They wait outside of his trailer, but he is nowhere to be found.
