Ep 4. The Manhunt

Meanwhile, the show also addresses the toll the investigation is taking on Detective Rodie Sanchez. Rodie is a retired detective who has been brought back to the force specifically to work on this case. As the search for Eugenie's killer drags on, Rodie begins to feel overwhelmed and distressed. He confides in his son about his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts.

As the team finally tracks down Tommy, they find him hiding in a nearby shed. They arrest him and bring him in for questioning. Tommy denies any involvement in Eugenie's murder but admits to burying the mysterious object in the woods.
