Ep 6. Bear, Watches Over the Sisters

Bear, Watches Over the Sisters is the sixth episode of the first season of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. In this episode, Yuna decides to visit Fina and Shuri, who are living in a nearby city. She takes her bear suit with her, just in case, but didn't expect it to be needed- however, when she runs into a group of shady-looking characters on the way, things take a turn for the worse.

Yuna arrives in the city to find that Fina and Shuri are doing well. They are both in good health, and Fina has even started working at a local inn. Yuna is happy to see them, but quickly realizes that she has made a mistake. She tucked her money into her bear suit, which she left in her room, and now she has no funds for lodging or food. Remembering the shady characters from earlier, she starts to worry about what might happen to her.

As Yuna frets, Fina and Shuri try to cheer her up. They take her to see the sights, trying to get her mind off her troubles. They end up at a cafe, where they enjoy some sweet drinks- but then the cafe loses power, and all of the patrons are trapped inside. With no way out, Yuna realizes that she has to do something to protect Fina and Shuri. That's when she decides to call upon her bear suit.

With her bear suit on, Yuna is able to take down the robbers who had been bothering her earlier. However, in the chaos of the fight, she realizes that Fina and Shuri have gone missing. She searches frantically for them, but in the end, it's her bear suit that makes the biggest discovery. Hidden away in a nearby alley, Yuna finds Fina and Shuri, safe but frightened.

After reuniting, the trio returns to the inn where Fina is working. Yuna explains that she had to use her bear suit to protect them, and Fina and Shuri realize just how dangerous the world can be. They thank Yuna for watching over them, but Yuna is grateful to have them in her life as well. She realizes that they make her feel less alone- which is important for someone who spends so much time in her own little world.

Bear, Watches Over the Sisters is a heartwarming episode about the power of friendship and the importance of looking out for one another. Yuna may be a bit of a loner, but she's fiercely loyal to those she cares about- and that's a lesson that Fina and Shuri won't soon forget.
