Ep 2. Dark Angel

After her arrival at the mining town of Redwood, Ah Sahm discovers that the woman he was supposed to meet has been kidnapped. As he sets out to rescue her, he uncovers a dark and dangerous conspiracy lurking beneath the surface of the town. Meanwhile, Officer Lee, newly arrived in San Francisco, is on the hunt for the fugitive Bolo, who has fled the city and taken refuge in Redwood. As his investigation leads him to the same sinister plot as Ah Sahm's, their paths collide and they find themselves working together to unravel the mystery. Along the way, Ah Sahm continues to struggle with his place in American society and with his conflicting loyalties to his Chinese heritage and the American Dream. And with the threat of violence always looming, the two men must navigate treacherous alliances and dangerous enemies to uncover the truth before it's too late.
