In Ladies versus Butlers! season 1 episode 2, titled "Lady versus Lady," the story continues with Akiharu Hino, who had just started his new job at Hakureiryu Academy as a butler. In the previous episode, he met his childhood friend, Selnia Iori Flameheart, who is also attending the academy and training to become a noble lady.
On the second day of his work, Akiharu is introduced to another student, Tomomi Saikyo. Although Tomomi is from a well-respected family, she doesn't have the grace or elegance of a noble lady. Instead, she is known to be tomboyish and has a rude attitude towards everyone around her, including Akiharu.
During one of his duties, Akiharu accidentally spills juice on Tomomi's uniform, which leaves her embarrassed and angry. She confronts Akiharu, and this leads to a heated exchange between the two. Selnia, who is watching from afar, intervenes and mediates the situation.
Selnia invites Tomomi to her dorm room, hoping to change her attitude towards Akiharu. In the dorm room, Selnia introduces Tomomi to her other roommates, Pina Sformklan Estor and Kaede Tenjouji.
As they get to know each other, Tomomi starts to open up and shows a different side to her personality. She explains that her tomboyish behavior is due to her wanting to be a strong and independent woman, rather than a typical lady that society expects her to be. The conversation ends with Selnia suggesting that Tomomi could learn a thing or two about being a strong woman from Akiharu.
Meanwhile, Akiharu is having his own troubles with another lady, Ayse Khadim. Ayse is a foreign exchange student from a wealthy family, and she has taken an interest in Akiharu. However, Akiharu is oblivious to Ayse's affections, and this frustrates her to no end.
The episode ends with a shocking twist that will leave viewers wondering what will happen next. "Lady versus Lady" is a great continuation of the Ladies versus Butlers! series, and it's especially exciting to see how the characters are growing and evolving with each passing episode. So, it's a must-watch for anime lovers who enjoy a mix of comedy, romance, and drama.
