Meanwhile, Lizzie begins to explore the area and becomes friends with a local girl, Bo. The two girls bond over their love of music, and Bo invites Lizzie to a party. At the party, Lizzie is introduced to a teenage boy named Dylan, who seems interested in her.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Lincoln Heights is not the idyllic neighborhood the Suttons had hoped for. They are faced with issues such as gang violence and drug use, but the family remains determined to make a difference in their community.
