"Line of Duty" season 2 episode 1 follows the return of anti-corruption unit AC-12 as they investigate a police raid that resulted in the death of an innocent man. The acting remains superb in this episode - Vicky McClure gives a fantastic performance as Fleming. She has evolved from being a rookie in the department, and now has the high respect of her colleagues. Her wit and tenacity make her an excellent character to watch. Similarly, Martin Compston continues to impress portraying Arnott's moral dilemmas and his unwavering desire to uphold the law.

The show's writing is sharp and intense, providing a gripping storyline that keeps viewers glued to their screens. The new procedural format, complemented by great camera angles, continues to keep the show exciting. However, it is the rollercoaster ride of emotional tension, precision dialogue and intelligent scriptwriting that makes Line of Duty a remarkable show.
