  • July 24, 1948

In the Looney Tunes season 1948 episode 19 titled "Haredevil Hare," our beloved Bugs Bunny finds himself in a precarious situation. After a mishap during a magic show gone wrong, Bugs finds himself bound in chains, locked in a box with dynamite, and plunged from a plane by the villainous Mad Scientist.

As he plummets towards the Earth, Bugs remains as cool as ever, tweaking the Mad Scientist with his signature quips and one-liners. As fate would have it, he lands on the doorstep of the Mad Scientist's castle with nothing more than a mere scratch on his nose.

Once inside the castle, Bugs finds himself face-to-face with Gossamer, a giant orange monster with a menacing scowl. Bugs quickly outsmarts Gossamer, cleverly using his wit to lull the monster into a false sense of complacency and then sneaking away.

Throughout the episode, Bugs continues to frustrate the Mad Scientist at every turn, pulling out all of his classic tricks and making us laugh along the way.
