This time, the cunning coyote sets up a fake detour sign on a bridge, attempting to lure the Road Runner into a trap filled with explosives. However, his plan falls apart when he himself falls into the trap, leaving the Road Runner to run free once again.

Despite his continued failures, Wile E. Coyote remains determined to catch the Road Runner, and he devises yet another plan. This time he creates a giant slingshot to launch himself into the air and right into the Road Runner's clutches. Unfortunately for him, his plan quickly goes wrong as he finds himself launched into a cactus instead.
