In the end, Bugs emerges the victor of the competition, much to Sam's chagrin. However, Bugs is not without a soft heart and decides to share the cake with his defeated foe. The devil himself is surprised by the turn of events, but everything ends on a positive note, with Bugs and Sam sharing the cake and even singing a song together.
