Love It or List It Season 1 Episode 4 The Thomson Family

The Thomson family is in a rut with their current home. They've outgrown the space and are in desperate need of a change. Love It or List It comes in to help them decide if they should stay and renovate or sell and move on.

Hilary, the designer, takes a tour of the current home to gather information on what needs to be done in terms of renovation. The family is forced to live in a hotel for a few days while the water damage is taken care of and the new kitchen is installed.

Meanwhile, David takes the family to see one of the homes again in hopes of convincing them to list. The family is unimpressed with the home's lack of character and the renovation costs involved. They also express concern about the commute to work from this new location.

As the renovation nears completion, Hilary pulls out all the stops to make sure the family falls in love with their current home. She shows them the custom-built cabinetry, the added storage, and the updated finishes.
